An easy use resource which is full of apps/ extensions/websites to support EAL learners to develop their English skills and to access the curriculum. This is a ‘live’ document which will be updated regularly so we would recommend that you store it in Google Drive.

If you have access to Pen Pal here are a few ideas for using it from Essex County Council.
Here is a list of useful websites for EAL pupils. You can search under the different levels of English, Primary, Secondary etc. If anyone has any sites that they think would be useful additions, please contact the EAL team to add them, thanks.
EAL Highland have developed some Smartboard Resources to support Teddy Talk and Big Bear Banter activities. Sadly, the file type cannot be imported into the Blog so if you would like a copy of any of these please contact peter.fenton@highland.gov.uk with your email address and which resource you would like to see and he will send it on as an attachment.

Language of the Month is a fantastic interactive video website created by Newbury Park Primary school that celebrates the diverse languages in our schools today. You can use it to listen to children speak clearly in their home languages, and as the basis for a host of extension activities.
